Starting from 1st October 2021, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) is introducing a new compulsory Door Supervisor Upskilling Course or SIA Top-Up Training Course in North London. This training is mandatory for those who want to renew their Security Guard (SG) and Door Supervisor (DS) licenses. The SIA Top-Up training, also known as “Top-Up Door Supervisor Refresher,” will upskill the door supervisors to the same level as those who have completed a course and attained a qualification. This training will ensure that the door supervisors have updated their knowledge and skills required for the job, including conflict management, physical intervention, and emergency procedures.

The Door Supervisor Upskilling Course, also known as the SIA Top Up Course, is a mandatory training course for door supervisors who wish to renew their SIA license. It is designed to refresh and upskill door supervisors to the level attained by those who took a course and qualification after August 2010.
